Huo Shan Huang Ya was first developed during the Golden Age of the Tang Dynasty. However, the original techniques were lost forever. Today’s recipe is an interpretation of the ancient tea masters inklings from recovered relics. The Huo Shan Huang Ya journey starts at first light with fresh tea leaves of only buds while anchoring your feet at 820 meters perched over the side of a steep mountain. The remaining techniques, five in total, are camouflaged by a curtain of secrecy. What is certain, is the absolute commitment to the art of tea. It is singular in quality and craftsmanship. 

A serving of Huo Shan Huang Ya only weighs a few grams, but that’s enough to leave your senses quivering with pleasure. Their delicate, bird tongue like shape covered in fuzzy filament, vivid green-yellow hue, enchanting aroma and a sweet long finish draw aficionado to slowly savor them right down to the last drop. Their exquisite chestnut flavors solicit the noise and on the first sip, even the ears tingle with excitement and the palate is irrevocably rewarded.
